I hav updatet my engl. Xp-pro-Corp with 1078 is installed to 1081.
After the extrating coms this error "update.inf-file is incorrect".
What is this? can anyone help me please. Thank you all.

To the problem "update.inf-file is incorrect". I wanted that 1081 of the 1078 updates. There that I did not want went the 1078 deinstall. I did not want came goes the SP1 (1078) deinstall however it permanently a mistake message that it to deinstall. Then on my Testpartition (NTFS), a Cleaninstall with the XP-corps in english had made. After that the SP1 (1081) with no Problems draw lots install itself. Why that so is wise I until now not yet. Perhaps in the
deinstallationsroutine of that 1078, a mistake is inside.

Es ist nicht immer neccessary zu uninstall der ältere Dienst Packe vor Installieren vom neuen. Ich nur uninstall das alte, wenn ich ein Problem mit ihnen habe. It is not always neccessary to uninstall the older service packs before installing the new one. I only uninstall the old one's if i have a problem with them. Try re-installing the 1078 and then install 1081 again.

Thank you DoG for you message here. You see that "freetranslate" is a big bullshit. You mean i must befor 1081 the 1078 again install? and than coms the error again with "update.inf-file is incorrect" and than??
I hav now all perfect , not a error. i will testing the uninstall the 1081.
Maby that this not work? as by the 1078.
