Hi

Just read the thread on the Windows XP Forum which stated:

In the EULA of SP2 RTM, it says that it is a 180 day license.

I guess MS missed that one :P

Though I don't see that in my EULA ...... unless I've overlooked it?

Just tested with two PC.

Repro Steps:

1. upgraded to Windows XP SP2 RTM from a Windows XP SP2 RC2

Yup, mine is 180 days. SP-2 RTM install over 2162 beta. Forgot about that.

No limit with an install of SP-2 RTM over SP-1 on my laptop.

yep - Start/Run/winver to get to war's screen seems easier to me
