Get some stupid error 0x0000007B no matter what that says run chkdsk /r wich i have done 3 times already with no luck. Tried fixmbr etc.

Anyone know how to fix it? Yea it happens before windows even tries to boot.

Atm I am using a different installed in a different folder on the same drive. So like wtf. lol

BTW this happened after uninstall sp2 2162. :(

Anyways got a ghost backup but it's not working either. Same error after ghosting it. So wtf.

Guess I will have to write zeros to the drive. But thought I would ask if anyone has any ideas before I go that route.

I've had some troubles with the 0000007B errorcodes, and they usualy were IDE/SCSI controller related. Could it be you had to delete the atapi.sys while installing the 2162 build? It's just a hint, but it might solve your bootup probs.

I've used it and the only thing I wish it would do that it doesn't is, I've got 2 drives and it doesn't see the 2ND drive.

No matter how many people tell you it works great, the only way you will know personally is to try it yourself and see. Personally I would just go ahead and reformat and re-install fresh.....cuz I like that clean, Newly installed OS fresh scent ;) lol
