I installed sp1 1081 without any problems .
On the desktop there is no info about testing purposes, good news.

same here no prob but i steel have the testing on the desktop... it can be that i have upgrade it from built 1073 i think it was *lol* i dont care if its there im not so much in my desktop hehe..

Hey Pittpull!

Yeah I just upgraded to 1081 from 1078..so I skipped I build...and That "Testing Purposes Only" is still on the desktop..but I really dont mind it being there.


Oh I also noticed that the IDW loging tool was no where to be found on 1081. I searched for it..it isnt even in the startup..thats good!

I'm just curious to know if people are still having troubles with the WMP9 Build using this new SP1 1081?? But thats a whole other topic/thread. As stated before, the folks who haven't applied an SP Beta to their XP's aren't having as much, if any trouble, as those who have installed an SP1 Beta

I use the same i have used for all the sp1 and no prob

when installing it check if you use the F key thats all.And if you have another then the F key it install with out prob

It installed for me with a key generated by the blue list but style xp stopped working
