Just a brief note before the Democratic convention begins. Starting tomorrow you're going to hear about what a brave, heroic man JFK is. After all, he's Viet Namn war HERO! He has 3 Purple Hearts to prove it! But you might like to do a bit of research about "Purple Hearts" before you fall for his line of crap.
Purple Hearts are awarded to those who are wounded during combat. If you run across a mine field to save your bud and don't get scratched, you don't get a Purple Heart. JFK received 3 Purple Hearts in about 4 months! And NEVER missed a day in the field! Now I wonder, how bad were these wounds? One report says he received a piece of shrapnel in the butt from a mortor round he fired at a rock which ricocheted and DEMANDED the doctor wright it up as a "war wound". Now I don't want to dis ANYONE who severed the USA in ANY war! But it's important to look at JFK's record in congress. He voted against EVERY major defense bill in the last 20 years including the development of the stealth bomber and fighter. When Ronald Reagan decided to go "toe to toe" with the Soviet Union JFK voted to freeze our nuclear weapons programs. Now, if you're a "peacenik" who thinks France, Germany and, the UN have the best interests of the USA in mind, JFK *is* your man. But if you pay attention to the DNC this week, you'll see JFK claim he is STRONG on defense. In otherwords, he wants you to forget EVERYTHING he has stood for the last twenty years in congress. The point is, JFK will tell you what you want to hear and then Fk you. Don't forget, while he claims to "relate to the common man" he owns a private jet, rides in SUV's he says aren't his (they belong to my family but they aren't mine) and has a buttler?!?!?!? In defense of "W", you may disagree with him but you must admit, he hasn't taken the easy way out. He NEVER looked at the "polls" and fed you the shat you wanted to hear. More from Tube next time :D }---:) |
i am not a bush fan but this guy is the hollywoodies, socialists, and welfare leeches wet dream.
he kissed up to the United Auto Workers Union for their indorsement then drives and in a rolls royce. _http://www.washtimes.com/national/20040723-111416-8086r.htm the local newspaper ran a acticle praising him today. "He his the scion of two of Americas founding families". big lie,big lie. his parental grand parents were jewish immigrants from what is now austria. they changed their name and religion after moving to the boston area. french john said he only learned about this 15 years ago, after being asked about the details by a newspaper reporter{i am sure his father never mentioned it to him}. his mother is a member of the english/french forbes family. founding families my donkey. the reporter more than likely copied the article directly from a dnc handout. not much choice. vote for a dumbass or a complete phony who has a hard time making up his mind on what to eat for breakfast. :( :( :( :( :( Edited live link-TuB |
Great post tube! This is the truth. Do your researchand you will find that JFK is one of the most far left (ie - socialist) politicians to occupy a seat in the senate and his voting record copared with his press satements make him among the biggest hypocrites I have had the displeasure of seeing as a candidate for the presidency [of the USA].
Doder, you may be right about Kerry's views and his family, but as far as the choice goes for who to vote for...I think Bush is the obvious choice...and just because he is not the best public speaker does not make Bush "dumb". He is likely to be a far better educated individual than you or I and comes from a family of quite intelligent, well connected and dilligently accomplished people. He went to the best schools and grew up in an environment conducive to his grooming as a politician, leader and eventually president. I commend Bush for his stance on terrorism, his economic policy, and his resolve in all his decisions - including what may have been a bad decison to go to Iraq, but one in which he has NOT backed down from as a bandwaggoner like Kerry would have. A man of character is what America needs and Kerry that is not. I will vote Bush as I urge you to...or if not, vote Libertarian. |
Right now I think anyone would look good next to Bush.
The type of person we need in office is the one that will never run. It's kind of like playing Fear Factor. Your told you can eat this or that and really you don't want either, but you have to pick one. :P |
Don't Vote!! I'm not going to. :) Last day of summer classes next Thursday, week from day, we are having a don't vote rally. lol
Most 18-20 do not give a rats donkey. I sure don't. ;) |
well, I voted for Bush, and will agree he is one of the biggest bufoons to ever sit in the White House, but I am pretty certain I dont want Kerry in there insted..

Well here's my two cents worth as your neighbour North of the border your President will affect the every day lives of Canadians and how our two Nations do business because of this I pay fairly close attention to American politics. George.W Bush may have started out fairly week after the last election because of the dimpled and hanging chads, but when 9/11 happened he reacted and struck back at the people who were responsible I beleive his actions to such an attack were correct his foreign policy with our country leaves something to be desired but leaders change and how we deal with each other changes as well. He represents Americans before anyone else and such leaders are not found that often. Besides John Kerry purple hearts and his marriage to a wealthy heiress his performance on the issues has not been clear. When a big decision is made it needs to be clear and concise something Senator Kerry really has not been. Anyway you have the ability to decide who will lead your country for the next four years. It would be a waste not to exercise your right to vote anyone who doesn't vote has no right to complain about the government. You are given a chance to vote for your representation in all levels of government. Just a thought in Australia it's against the law not to vote.I guess all I am trying to say is get registered and vote

I guess I lost all respect for the DNC when they turned a senator's funeral (Wellstone) into a political rally, booing those from the "other side" that came to pay their respects. Disgusting :(
Here is an article from one of my favorite writers that sums John Kerry up pretty good: Quote:

It's a bit odd to try and belittle someone and then say your not trying too!
Whatever about purple hearts - Kerry volunteered and he went to Vietnam. Did he have people firing bullets at him. Yes he did. Would I go for that no thanks. To give a present day analogy. It seems obvious that none have us here have decided to run to the nearest Marine recruiter and bolster the troops in Iraq - Why?because we don't want a bomb up our asses. So I think its time to give people a break who are far braver than us, (such as my brother in Kabala) tapping away on our keyboards. Another 4 years of Bush. God help us! Well maybe his Bin Laden friends among the Saudi Oil family may disagree with that. |
