Its so annoying.. I've tried to statically route (Linksys) the IP to 192.168.1.150 and to set the IP on the printer (Phaser750N) to match. But when I go to my Dad's computer it doesn't accept the URL nor the IP. :(:(

I've gone to MSFT... The WEIRD thing is.. I've done this at school, and its DEAD easy. I'm just forgeting some critical steps. Is it possible to get some guidance on this. I'm stuck..

I'm wondering if I can setup a IP printing service for my Mom as well, but only one geeky problem at a time.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP!!! /pardon for shouting

I recommend you use the standard printer ip if possiable 192.168.100.1. Using the LPR protocol (L1).

First,
make sure the printers IP and subnet mask is within the same range as the PC
( or at least pingable/traceable from it ).

Then,
add a local printer on the W2k PC, select non PnP, and "create" a IP
port, with the adress of the printer.

Let us know how it works out :)
