I have a Creative Zen 20GB Mp3 player. It's pretty good because it hs an FM tuner and mic attachment. It is not user friendly because it is not recognized as a hard disk on the usb port. You have to use a special Crative file manager interface to upload files.

I understand that IPOD is recognized as a usb hard drive, so uploading stuff is really easy and simple, right from the Windows File Explorer. Is this right?

Does anyone know if i River is the same? That is, is it recognized as a HD, or does it also require a special file manager interface?

I have not used my Zen much because it is such a pain to upload stuff and manage what is there. Either I get an IPOD, or an i River. or Dell. Anybody got any knowledge of this?

What do you think?
