Could be bad RAM.

Jupiter2k 22nd Jul 02 04:41 AM

you may need to tweak your BIOS ?

I have error installing XP until I update my BIOS!
too many possibilities :(

fritz122 22nd Jul 02 09:46 AM

Yes Jupiter.... ist it real. I hav change the Bios (Award-Bios) the Video Shadow and Bios Shadow disabled. I hav a Gigabyteboard 2000+ with the last Biosupdate from jan.02 "FDc" is the codename or updatename.
Is this a performanceloss with work day by day?
I hav "default settings" change on the Bios. After i can installed ******** with no problems.
What DewLaShing say..this think to first, is my RAM no correct work.
I think my RAM is ok.

Hey Fritz :)

This Stop message, also known as Stop 0x50, occurs when requested data is not found in memory.
The system generates a fault, which normally indicates that the system looks for data in the paging file.
In this circumstance, however, the missing data is identified as being located within an area
of memory that cannot be read to disk. The system faults, but cannot find, the data and is unable to recover.
Faulty hardware, a buggy system service, antivirus software, and a corrupted NTFS volume can all generate this type of error.

The best thing to do, is to reset your BIOS to safe/default settings before doing a clean
install on a formatted harddrive, then when you are done, you can tweak your BIOS settings one by one.

Cheer's
