So who is going to President Reagan's' formal funeral tonight at 6pm?

My uncle, Dan King, squadron will be in the flyover during President Reagan's' formal funeral procession to the US Capitol around 6PM this evening.

Just got an e-mail from my aunt. Pretty damn cool.

Hi All:

I'm not stealing Lara's thunder but she called and told us Dan's squadron was in the flyover during President Reagan's' formal funeral procession to the US Capitol around 6PM tomorrow evening. Dan should be in the last group of 4 of the F-15's, the entire squadron is participating, and one A/C from that group will do the missing man formation/flight. So it should be a busy day at Semour Johnson AFB tomorrow.

Naturally all plans are subject to change without notice so stay tuned to your TV sets. I will ask Dan to paste one of my 3 inch USMC emblems on the underside of his A/C so we can al spot him. Yea, right.
That's all the news fit to print from this very proud father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, etc., etc., and watchamacallit. (This is a family type joke.)

hehe Pretty damn cool. Wish I could go but i have class and live a few states over. :(

So who thinks he is one of the best 20th century presndent? You can vote over at cnn.com i think too. ;)

Yeap top three atm.

Interesting stuff there.

Actually, the state funeral is on Friday the 11th from the National Cathedral.

I wasn't a big Reagan supporter, but he was a good President in my opinion.

I wish I payed more attention to politics back then but speaking from looking at the facts ( 49 state landslide, busted double digit inflation, dissolution of Russia, etc.) I can only conclude that he was a great man and great leader that inspired the best in my fellow americans :)

Yes, I guess so.

Not to sound heartless, but do you know just how much money it costs the tax payers for that many?

@ Nemesis

And just where would that money be better applied? I for one have no problem with it at all...it's money well spent.
