Hi everyone, obviously I'm new here. I wasn't sure where to post this but "Chit Chat" looked like the best place, to not be spamming lol.

I'm pretty good with computers, but I'm no expert. I'm also NOT a programmer. My deal is that I've been addicted to computers for years.

I'm still getting used to getting around here but hopefully I'll be posting more soon. So far so great! I have an odd feeling I was a member at a place called betaone before though, years ago maybe? Was that you?

Oh, I didn't see anything regarding it, but can someone specify whether I can have a link to my forum in my sig? It does not compete in this site in anyway, just a discussion board about LIFE in general.


About me: (I'll make it quick so as not to bore anyone)

32 yo male, married with 3 children.
Jobs: Writer, Security Occifer at a Hospital, student of psychology (although not in school, so no credits), I've done many other things as well.
Live in the US of A, right on the border to Wisconsin and Illinois.


PCs:

Gateway Solo 5300, piece of junk the keyboard doesn't work. 600mhz, 256 RAM, 10Gig HDD.

HP Pavillion, 2.7 GHz CELERON (shutup it was cheap), 30Gig HDD, 768DDR Ram, 256 DDR ATI Radeon (forget model, 9200?) PCI (have no AGP), Cable internet which tends to reach T1 speeds.. at least in my area.

LOL it's not always that fast. I deserve it after years of AOHell and other dial ups, then I went to DSL with downtime seemingly once per month and speeds slower then 512.
