LAWYERS ACTING for Microsoft have continued to lean on Linux maker Linspire despite the company changing its name from Lindows to please them.
The Vole claims the company has not gone far enough in purging the name Lindows from the company's operations and is taking the company back to a Dutch court.

Dutch beaks ruled that Lindows had nicked Vole's trademark and a later appeal failed. Lindows changed its name to Linspire and took all its products out of Dutch shops.

However, that was not good enough for Vole briefs. They said say that Dutch customers were still able to view Lindows products and its company name on its its US Web site.

Now the lawyers are demanding that the Dutch courts demand a 100,000 Euros-a-day fine for violating its trademark.

Exactly what I think. Linspire sounds exactly as Windows after all. You don't need several years at a law school to hear that.
:)
Really, this is a disgusting part of all the things Microsoft/microdaft/microhouse/mousehouse/mouseshit does. I guess I can write anything there as everything is microsoft. Please note that mouseshit allthough it might not be a registered trademark of microsoft can not ne used as a trademark for your next linux release - it sounds exactly as microsoft and you'll get sued.
