Hi Guys,

We bought a Pentium 4 2.40 GHz (Prescott) processor and it is fixed to a SAPPHIRE AXION MA39 DDR400 VGA & AGP8X LAN AC97. http://www.sapphiretech.com/mainboard/ma39.asp

The mobo supports Prescott and also Hyperthreading.

But some reason HTT is not enabled by default. I went through all the options BIOS. But I couldn't find where to enable HTT. The BIOS is Award aka Phoenix.

I looked at the mobo CD but there was no information over there as well.

Has any of you have/had the same problem?

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Check the motherboard manufacturers site for a bios upgrade, you can also grab a util from Intel that checks the compatability of your CPU, Chipset and Motherboard in general for HT Support.
