I getting ready to build a new p4 system soon. Any m/b suggestions? Has to have an 800mhz bus. It'll atl east be a 3 gig. Probably faster. Im getting tired of via chipset but they havent been too bad.

I'm in the same boat. I was thinking:

ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe
ABIT IC7-MAX3
Gigabyte GA-8KNXP (REV 2.0)
DFI LANPARTY PRO875B

But not necessarily in that order. All 4 seem to be good according to the reviews on tomshardware, motherboards.org, and other review sites. My problem is trying to decide which one to go with.

I bought ASUS P4PE for the system I built over a year ago and so far, so good. I may stick with what I know.

I really like their motherboard

ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe, that's what I have, havn't had any problems.

And thats what I got.Lol!

I went for the MSI 875P Neo FISR, would reccomend it if anyone else is looking for a P4 mobo.
