Hi,
I live in Australia and hardware prices are really bad for some stuff, well most stuff I suppose. Take for instance this following package: DLink DI-624 108Mbps wireless router DLink DWL-G650 108Mbps wireless cardbus (PCMCIA) for my laptop Price at BUY.COM for you guyz is US$124.99 less US$40 (mail-in rebate) = US$84.99 Price for me in Australia is A$355 (this is my wholesale price as I'm a PC builder) or about US$265. Code:
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10344769&mp=81&loc=101 I'm in particular looking for hardware revision "C" for both the DI-624 and DWL-G650. This is one of the problems with the goods in Australia, I can get a DI-624 "C" but the DWL-G650 appear to be only "B" and I've heard the "C" is the only hardware revision I sould get. I'm not sure, maybe I could send you the US$124.99 and you keep the US$40 rebate to cover the shipping and your trouble. I realize there would be a delay from you paying for the Air-Express shipping to you receiving the rebate, but this could be worked out I'm sure. If anyone is maybe just a little interested in helping this poor soul  :( , could you let me know please. Cheerz :) ;) :D |

Wow.. that is a pretty good price for 108Mbps..
Does it work with other wireless standards too? .11b, .11a, etc. Cause $84 (us) $100 (cad) is worth it. :) |

I'm no expert, but I think if you mix A, B and/or G, your speed may get reduced some what. 108Mbps is the optimum speed, other factors may influence this, like distance from DI-624 to PC/laptop etc. Also, you'll need all DLink 108Mbps devices, other brands I don't think will work at that speed.
