A friend of mine can't connect to an IRC channel.....
It says that the Address has been banned..... I take it that means the IP address....He was wondering whether you can connect to the channel using a Proxy Server, as you can to various Web Sites/Ftp Servers Is this possible and if so how would you go about it..... |
I have just been having this problem , but cant seem do do much about it . My ISP has just put be onto a new national dialup number and their whole domain seems to be continually banned. My old diiiialup settings still work. Look as if someone who is using the same provider is abusing the system , everyone using that provider suffers.

Thanks for the Heads Up......
Apparently if you use mIRC...In the Options/Firewall section there are a couple of options that you can change...which let you connect through a Proxy Server.....Haven't tried it myseld yet though..... |
