you can use a bootable floppy AFAIK
XP 64 and Longhorn perhaps not
but just plain XP 32 bit - you can

Your friends are right.. w/ NTFS

FAT32 can boot up with single floppy, but NTFS takes nearly 6 to match the same effect.

A cd does just fine..

but if you insist on using 3.5inch disks..
Code:

from good ol' ETplanet YAY! :)

Just use the Xp cd....it is bootable. Some of the newer computers have been made with out a floppy drive, so getting to use a cd is going to have to be with some people.

You just have to set the system bios to boot to cd.

Thanks
