Thank you for the pics and making this place a nice one.
I'm also glad to hear you kept control of the car in that accident. |
geez, why did he push you off the road??
did it look like he was drunk, or could you tell? All that matters is everyone is ok... |
Glad you and the family are ok, looks like you had a fine old time :)

Well they know who they are looking for, but they have not yet found the guy or the truck. After my wife found his record online, I called and asked for the state trooper so I could tell him that I would not be pressing charges. Why? Because by doing so I would have to testify in court and he would get my name and address. Plus, if he does not have insurance... I'm out $250 from my insurance deductible. |
Looks like you had a good time B)
You must have got a shock when that accident happened Hope they catch him ;) |
Glad you and the family are ok KC :)
Aside from that incident, looks like a nice trip :) /JD |
Update
Something I didn't mention before was that right after the guy hit me and started to run I took off after him. Of course I didn't know of his past record and should have taken that into consideration. Not to mention I did have my wife and two of our four kids (girls 1yr & 6yr) in the van with me. As my wife is on the phone in tears telling the 911 operator what happened and what the plate number was I sped after him off an exit onto county roads at top speed 90 mph. I didn't feel safe doing over 90mph in our caravan. What did I plan on doing? I only wanted to keep him in sight to give the 911 operator directions of every turn made by the guy so they could bust him. I lost him though because he pulled away from me easy so of course he was doing well over 100mph at times. When I was younger I was called kamikaze due to my carefree and reckless attitude. Looking back on the accident I really should have not chased the guy, after all I already had his plate number. I'm thankful nobody was hurt. They did find the guy and the truck. The cops gave him my information even though I wanted to drop it, due to his past record. Now he is saying that I hit him and he told the cop he was going to turn it into his insurance company to get his $500 dollars of damage fixed. This guy really is dumb. I'll let all of you know more as I find more out. |
