Some months ago, maybe 3-6 somebody posted a link to a company who announced a new hand held pc with 20GB HD, full array of ports, 5 inch screen and a thumb keyboard. The company expected to announce shipment this fall. I lost all the links and I changed my usual e-mail address to get rid of spam.

Anybody remember this unit?

I'm considering buying an HP h5555, but this is a big step down from the little unit we read about here on BetaONE.

Interestening machine but I recall it as a lack of USB 2.0 ports making me hesitate. Hope that changes until' it becomes reality.

Yeah Unicorn. That's the unit I was interested in. Many thanks. I really don't know what to do. The HP 5555 has really taken off in North America. You can't buy them--sold out. I keep thinking of that machine, but it may just be a "maybe" that we'll never see in real time.

Nah, those handhelds don't appeal to me. I like real things.

If money is no problem - why not have a look at the new Sony VAIO TR3AP3 that comes with an inbuilt DVD-burner, USB 2.0 ports and a tiny 10.6" screen yet capable of a 1280x768 resolution. Close to $3000 which make it stay in my dreams only.
