Did anybody ever figure out a way that Platinum can go straight to second half of movie.
A couple of times I have copied the first half ok, but then the second dvd burn screws up, so I would like to be able to just do the second DVD.
thanks

I moved this from beta software to software support; I don't think ANYTHING from 321 Studios can be considered "Beta" software!!!

thanks,

I do not want to argue about this, bu t if you have had anything to do with DVDXCopy whether plain1.5.2, or Platinum 321 or 4038, then you would agree it is at best beta, in many respects. Many would-be users have given up on it because it has many shortcomings and undeveloped features.

Looking at the help forums makes you realize there are more people that have problems with this software, than there are happy users.

anyway...., my question still stands.

well, good point, their software has always been "buggy" so, i guess in that respect, you could call it "beta" quality..
I've actually never been able to get the "browse" function on Platinum to work at all; I generally just use the dvd xcopy version by itself..

When I have a problem burning the second disk, Its usually because of a conflicting burning program that i installed after 321...When that happens, I have found 2 things work:

Format, and dont install any other dvd burning software
or
Uninstall the version 3.2.1. and install one of the older releases...for me, version 3.01 used to work when ever that happened..

With my newest PC, that doesnt happen anymore; I dont know if its the fact I have a different burner now,(HP versus Panansonic before), or the fact the HP uses +R, and the Panasonc was -R

Anyway, you can try using the older version and see if that helps!
