Hey,

Thought I would share this with you guys. Sure most of you have already seen and done this but if not you will be amassed.

Think your computer rocks?

Then test it with High Definition Quality with Windows Media Video 9 Professional clips.

Download the clips to experience high definition Windows Media Video. To deliver ultra-high quality, these clips were encoded 24 fps, and at the resolution noted of either 1280 x 720 (720p) or 1920 x 1080 (1080p).

My system can barley handle 1080p. But it can play. Its awsome.

OR if you just want to expereince the next age of High Def. on your computer this is a must.

I wonder why my system is slow. :(

System Requirements

Although other system configurations may be able to playback this content, for an optimal experience we recommend systems of at least a 2.53 GHz Intel or AMD Athlon XP 2200+ or higher processor for 720p and 3.0 GHz or greater processor for 1080p. For either scenario, an AGP4x based NVIDIA or ATI video adapter card with at least 32 MB of RAM and the most recent OEM driver updates are recommended.

The 720p sample clips have a data rate of 6884 Kbps and the 1080p samples have a data rate of 8384 Kbps. The higher the data rate, the higher the resource requirement. For optimal playback of 1080p content, an AGP8x 128 MB video card is required.

I have a 2200 btw. But clocked at 2.2ghz. So it can at least play. I say at least at least 2600 though. Not sure about p4. Probally 2.8 from what I've heard.

I always wanted to give them a go. What discouraged me was my poor 32 kbps connection. I will add them to by FlashGet job list anyway. Thanks Will.

P.S: Got a P4 3.0 GHz and a Radeon 9600 128 MB video card. Should be able to handle this.

Coral Reef 720p played well considering I am under the reccommended requirements. No major hiccupps at all. I will try T2 1080p sometime. I have the Extreme Edition DVD with thew whole movie in 1080p...I doubt that it will play well if at all.

Thanks for the link.
