I know there are other browsers out there I can use, but I still use IE. Now my problem, When I open IE it doesn't show in task manager or my firewall. Everthing is connecting thru eplorer exe. Used to be when I opened 3 IE windows there would be 3 IE in the taskmanager and IE would be in firewall (ZA). I noticed nothing in task manager so I took IE out of firewall thinking next time I connect it would ask if I wanted to allow IE. Well it didn't. So I took explorer exe out of firewall and opened IE and asked if I wanted explorer exe to access the internet. Anyone know what's going on here? If it was a windows update that changed things? Have run virus scanners and spysweepers and nothing comes up. One other thing, when I close IE down, green dot next to explorer exe in ZA indicating connection still active. Have never let explorer exe connect to the internet, but now have to if I want to surf. May just have to restore an image and see if it is same way. If not try to find what caused the change.
