Hello,

For some reason, when I try to go and view the source of websites (by either going to View -> Source, or by right clicking and choosing view source), Notepad does not pop open... I even tested it out with a simple HTML page I created and still, no luck...

I tried reinstalling IE by going to the INF file, right clicking on IE.inf and choosing install - being I do not have IE showing up in my add/remove programs list. This still has not resolved the issue...

Does anyone know of any other things I can try out before I try a repair install?

I just try it after installing the SP2 2082 and all is working for me ;)

The source open in ultraedit for me

Just to be sure I checked the Internet Options to see what was set for my HTML editor, and it is still set for Notepad... But it refuses to pop up when I try to view source... I even tried changing it to MS Office Word, and still no luck. When I try to view the source of a site, nothing happens. :(

Thanks for the suggestions... I just figured out what the problem was... After deleting all the files within my Temporary Internet Folder, things began to work the way they should... :D

An Admin or Mod may now close this thread, being the issue is resolved.
