hi i have sp2 installed now i want to uninstall it and install the newer version as earlier version have to be removed

problem there is no unistall registered in the add & remove is there any other way of removing it

You could use the system restore point created at the time you installed XPSP2 B1.

You didnt have any choice, you HAD to archive the files when you installed B1- it was intentionally done that way so you could uninstall it and upgrade to the later builds.

I thought so but u never know. Its easy to make it not btw. ;)

took me a few hours to find this file last night and just letting u now that i have managed to uniinstalled the sp2 beta 1 and installed the newer version all is ok many thanks
for anyone in same situation go to file for unistalling the beta
C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst
