This is really important information for full usage of Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.

The exact error is helpful, if it's the the message 'videowave was unable to load the configuration file' then read below for the fix:

Issue:

VideoWave generates error on startup "VideoWave was unable to load the configuration file. Please re-install VideoWave."

Other symptoms include:

- DVD Builder does not launch, no error message
- Capture does not launch, no error message
- PhotoSuite screen is distorted or has horizontal lines
- Roxio Player interface is distorted

Resolution:

1. Download and install Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 3.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4)

a. Click on the "Start" button, and then click on "Internet Explorer". (If you do not use Internet Explorer please open your Web Browser)
b. In the address bar type in the following internet address and the press the "Enter" key

c. When this page loads, scroll to the very bottom and look for the area called "Files in this Download".
d. Click on the file called "msxml3usa.msi"
e. When the window appears prompting you to "Open" or "Save" the file, click on the "Save" buttonf. In the pull down menu titled "Save In" select the entry marked "Desktop" and then click the "Save" button

2. Install Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 3.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4)

a. Close all windows that are open so you see the desktop
b. Double click the file on your desktop called "msxml3usa.msi" or "msxml3usa"
c. Click next and follow the rest of the instructions on screen to complete the installation
