Up to now I've always used MyPhotoSlideShowGold, a fantastic windows slide show program. Easy to add captions and great to mail to friends. But, of course, it only plays on a pc.

I checked out a number of DVD slide show programs last year. The one I liked best at the time was ULead Picture Show 2.0. But, even that didn't measure up to MyPhotoSlideShowGold in terms of ease and efficiency. Second choice at the time was Magix and third was Sonic MyDVD.

Anybody got a favorite among possible rescent new versions to recommend? The vital part for me is ease of adding captions and editing them later. Plus I typically make slide shows of several hundred photos.
