i need a driver for a newpoint 4 port usb hub. i've tried driverguide and they don't have it. windows xp pro won't install the drivers automatically and i've either lost the disk that came with it or it didn't come with one. (its 2 or 3 years old).

Have you tried the Newport Site....

yea they don't have the 1.1 drivers. their site says under construction check back later. i've also sent them an email but they haven't responded.

what i don't understand is that it worked fine on my old computer running the same copy of xp pro. the only exception was that it was plugged into a 1.0 or 1.1 port while now it is plugged into a 2.0 port on the new computer.

edit: newpoint finally emailed me back with a driver, so i'm closing this now.
