Not sure m8 - have you tried it on the x86 ver of apache? I used the sample code from the second link and it seemed to work ( I did not set up a db though ;) )

What exact error are you getting?

iis is not the best server to use php with... like JackDynee i would suggest you use apache. also... why need to manually install apache... just go and download the latest php build with installer.

That should work on that site above. I've done it a million times and its worked just about every time.

Whats the error. Is the php not loading, like just a white page and then some times like a 500 error or something. That use to happen sometimes to me and u just have to copy some file to your system32 folder.

I believe its php4ts.dll if i remeber correctly.

BTW just test php with:

<?php

phpinfo();

?>

Hello,

Now it is a different error coming up. No CGI error anymore. But this one is worse. :o

You
Code:

http://mcored.servebeer.com/hello.php
You are not authorized to view this page

I am the bloody Administrator.

I think I messsed up somewhere,

No clue mate,
McoreD

P.S:
It happens only for php documents.
Code:

http://mcored.servebeer.com/images200311.htm
This htm file works properly.

@war, I only found a php4ts.lib file, and I copied that to /Windows/System32.

Hi there Will,

Thanks for the PM and for the Post. :)
I really appreciate your time and help.

From your guide, I came to know that there was a PHP Installer which can automatically configure PHP in IIS. That made the life so much easier.

Thanks again,
McoreD
