Hi guys!
I have one guestion if someone can help. How I can uncheck this options when program start. The default is set to: 1.current user 2.protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity I like to uncheck the second options,so when I run this program exe-file the 2.options be uncheck. I try a lot of things, but always when I click with right mouse button and choose run us this 2.options is always check. Is any chance to fix this? Thanx! |
Rudi1,
Make sure the account you log on with has administrator access ;) Do this by going into your control panel and selecting the "users" applet. Make sure the account you log on with is set as the computer administrator. This should solve your "run as" problem :) Hope this helps some :) /JD |
Thanx for your answer JacKDynne, but I already have account with administrator access.
When I choose with right mouse button-run as and uncheeck :protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity the program run fine, but when second time run the same exe file,I have error message:rundll.exe-error,but when I choose run us and uncheck:protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity-program run ok,so I like if posible to uncheck this:protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity-so I like to run programm normal, not always run it with run us options! or is not posible at all? :( |
Hmmm....why even use the run as option?

OK now I understand your question Rudi. :)
You have a problem in your Windows which prevents you to excute a file by just double clicking it. So as a workaround you are executing the file as Run As. The problem still remains until you deselect "protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity". That CheckBox is automatically selected by default, so you are asking is there a setting somewhere which could make this CheckBox deselcted by default. Well dude, this should be a really annoying problem - even the workaround. So may I suggest you trying to fix the Double-clicking error? Do you get the same problem (when double clicking) in another User Account? If you haven't tried that before, please create another Administrator account from User Accounts, and try executing an Application just clicking it as normal (not Run As). If you succeed, then it is the easiest solution (afaik). Just transfer you documents to that User Account, and forget about your current acccount. All the best, McoreD |
Thanx for your answer ~*McoreD*~! I try with another User Account, but the problem is the same.I have this problem with the new Opera 7.50 Preview 1 .The only way to run this program is that I must right click and deselect this options.Any other idea? :)
