Using Nero 6 and a BTC 52x CD-R, I am able to get max 727 MB (763,000,000) on a 700MB/80min CD-R (TDK and Memorex). Should I be able to fit more, or is that it for the 700MB CD-R.
Also, are 800MB/90min CD-Rs available yet? I remember reading about them a few months ago. P3/Celeron 900 512MB RAM 2x 60GB WinXP Pro SP1 Thanx in advance... |
I had some 700MB disk's that when I used "Burnatonce" said they were 803MB. But if I used ESCD they were 700's..

There are actually 99min CDRs. :)
I burnt two last year... http://www.betaone.net/index.php?sho...=burning+99min |
Thanx.
I 'googled' and found 90 min and 99 min CD-Rs. I also found a place that sells a demo pack of 10 disks for $11 including shipping. I have a BTC 52x CD-RW, and I e-mailed BTC to see if the drive supports the larger disks. |
If your Drive supports CDRs larger than 700MB, Roxio Easy CD Creator 6.2 and above versions will detect those CDRs automatically. =)

I use Nero and the size of the CD is set by the program and if what you want to burn is too big, Nero ask you to close the CD after burning it ;)
Other programs do that too if your Drive support the burnproof |
After over-burning about 10 CDR-Rs, now it won't over-burn. I have been using Nero 6.0.0.0. I have tried changing the "Maximum CD Length" setting up to 90 minutes and still no go. Am I missing another setting that could affect this?

 Oops, never mind
Somehow, now I can only choose "disc at once" when using Nero Wizard, in the full app you can't change it. "Disc at Once" is needed to overburn. |
