mmmmmm......

Well some general tips

Make sure you use the latest version 6
Make sure you have a updated server list
Make sure you got a high (6digits or up) ID

Further more check the educational connection guides @ sharereactor.

I got Dungeon Siege downloaded complete overnight?

Any program that you allow acces to the net and can pass your firewall, can be a potential source for exploits. Not much you can do about that right :rolleyes:

I NEVER used the donkey, becuase of those security holes (well in all the P2P progies) so i just search all the FTPs, and HTTP sites for progies :)

in development edonkey stood still at the moment because overnet is be developed .

as for downloading the donkey still rocks for me with linux.

best thing to do for you is have alook at the number of people who has that file on the network .

also try OVERNET because a lot of people are moving to it

I suppose you are using ED2KUtils latest version? Works well with the Utils added.

I have tried the Overnet serverless platform though but didn't get any joy with it.
