Hi,I had that problem before and I keep switching in different OS
but still the same.what I can advise to you is,dowload their latest version.Make sure to see the number written on your card like: bt 878+.So you download the right version.Give me feedback  |

A friend of mine have the same problem with you. Only in XP you get that problem, what we did we just download the latest driver from prolink website and take note...there many drivers out there but doesnt work, be sure you downloaded the correct revision no. otherwise you end up nothing.

Make sure you have the card's WDM drivers installed for XP.
NOT VFW. |
hi source
from where do i get the WDM drivers? could you please help me on this? if this works i will remove Win ME from my mahine. thanks /kk |
this is what i did,as you notice when you restart the machine,
in your device manager, under the sound its has a question mark. now install the revision driver, use the add new hardware then insert the installer.gud luck. |
Well TheMysterio, I'm hoping that website would make that clear. If you in fact do have vfw drivers installed, hopefully the website has a driver/file removal tool to truly clean up the remnants of the old drivers before you install the new.

I went as far as goint to their website and dl'ing the drivers. Then I ran the setup. If I dug into this deep enough, just double-check and make sure the setup program installed the Conexant BT848/878 drivers.
If it installed something else, try the driver update option to force it. |
thanks source..
i downloaded the driver and will try it over the weekend and will update you guys thanks |
