Naah, I wouldn't second that...........audiogalaxy of late doesn't seem to have the "good" songs it used to have before.......as of know I think Kazaa is pretty ok...

To get around which ones the best programme I just use both AudioGalaxy & Kazaa Lite, whatever I cant get on one I can usually find on the other.

I use winmx and other things so far I have aroud 8,000 mp3's from doing it ,,, so it can't be that bad, but then nothing will ever beat what scour and napster used to be :(

I have been happy with Kazza,and also the new morpheus

How about your ftp client. All these p2p things are pointless because of the ads, spyware and just the BS when they get shut down.

I use audiogalaxylite and kazaalite, if i cant find it on any ftp i have.

Update wennet: AudioGalaxy (The best ever MucisExchang eprogram ever seen on the net (imho of course)) died a few days ago. By court order :(

And with napster gone, only p2p seems a possibility, but usualy there is more porn in there then music.

Yeah but FTP sites can be a pain to find, connect to, get login info, blah blah blah. Kazaa Lite works great for me with all spyware and ads stripped away, so no worries.

(Though, as stated above, nothing is as good as Napster was.)

I agree. But I still hope a p2p program will emrge that was specificly programmed to echange mp3/music. Kazaa does the trick, but napster AND AudioGalaxy were just far better.

There were some clones of Napster, that worked after napster went down, anyone know of such a program for AudioGalaxy (a clone that is)

Given that Audiogalaxy has been mentioned so often in this subject area? sorry really a newbie - absolutely green. Was wondering what has happened to it; can't access anything, which is quite a shame -there was interesting stuff at that site. Read there was legal trouble, obviously leading to its demise. :(

My tastes tend to be wide and varied, it looks like Kazaa or WinMX for now. Tried Blubster (not enough users) and EDonkey - couldn't get it to work.
