Minimum requirements include:
* AT LEAST 400-500 mb storeage
* AT LEAST 30 gb transfer per month

The other must haves are:

MySQL
PHP4
Perl
Multiple FTP Accounts
POP3 Email

Shell access over SSH or Telnet would be very nice too.

Adam, you sure perl is a must have? Either im slow or we only use PHP.

30GB monthly transfer is very comfortable, according to our stats 10 would do, but its nice to have the option to expand.

Ooooh, norm, those look very good.

I am more in favour of the 2nd one as we get double HDD space, and unlimited shell users, and most importantly we are more experienced with linux than freebsd.

I know it's probably too late but http://www.webhostingweb.net is what I use and it is only $6.95 a month with 20gb a month transfer and 500MB storage. It is the host I use to run my website on and is really fast and has php and cgi etc
