I have been thinking about this and figured I might as well toss it out and see what happens.
I have not done any modding myself, but I will be soon and I know there are pep's on this board that OC so why not discuss Modding ideas here instead of elswhere? :unsure:

i've been toying with the idea of overclocking myself for a while, gotta get a new hsf first though, my cpu is running at 55C @ stock speeds lol

I don't do much OCing but I am really interested in Case Modding, it has become quite popular and I've seen some spectacular looking cases. I do have my VC and CPU slightly OC right now but thats about it.

I don't but that's because I never knew how and bought Pentiums but for the prices now I would jump on a AMD Athalon and love to know how to overclock it so I say yes as it would be beneficial not only for those who do and know how but for us who want to as well.

I voted YES even though I don't think I will have the time to do it myself. But, knowledge is power and I like to read about new things. I also like pictures. I look forward to seeing more modding pictures. B)

YA, THAT WOULD BE COOl! I would read up on the topics if there was a forum about modding. I've never actualy done any modding, but I like reading about the stuff. BUT, I think a babe topic would be just as much of a benefit. :yes:

Well.. Since I'm hopefully going to build my own computer SOON.

I could use the expertise from our family members. I have to admit though.. would be usually on the back burner on this one, cause I know NOTHING about modding or over clocking, I even stopped "chatting" about it. I thought that peolpe should be able to practice what they preach. :( Thus, I would be LEARNING ALOT. :):):):)

Do you think this might fit into the 'Hardware' section well enough? Great topic (I'd be in) but I'm not sure if there'd be enough ongoing traffic to justify it's own forum (and we've grown a lot of extra ones lately). How about creating a "PC Modding" topic in Hardware (maybe we could pin it too) and if it gets enough interest we could make another forum then. Poolman, it's your baby if you want to be the Topic starter in Hardware :).

Yeah, i guess i could do that. I think you'd be right in starting it in the "Hardware" section and see what how it takes off, only problem is how is the "average joe" gonna know if it's there unless they get a hardware problem and then check that section out?
Like I said, i really have'nt done anything but it is becoming a good interest of mine. I really like the Case modding and i can come up with some links to and "How-To's" to get things started. we're going back to OT at work and i'm gona start picking up a little here and there. If it does happen, I would like to add that section to my list of forums :D

Let's see what others post first and i will get some links together for now.
