Yea right guess u missed:

Point-to-Point Connections - 100 Mbps Connection Speed - $100.00 / Mo

And u need:

Fiber Installation Fee - PUD install charge - $75.00

4 Port Router - $150.00

Damn adding on up.

The Personal - Unlimited Access for $40 is really like one hub. U know like 100 people connected to one hub and u max at 1mbps. um What about a 1000? lol Wonder what is the max per hub. I guess 200. Meaning half a meg per user for $40 a month. Pretty nice. Unill u reliaze the setup fees. lol That sucks.

Really only worht if u buy like 10 years of servers and u get money back if company goes under. lol Good luck.

Grant and Douglas County's have an even better deal. There is no install fee, un-capped bandwidth (for now. The ISP I work for is looking into ways to cap people.) And the cost is only $40 a month.

I still think it's really good that this type of service is starting to appear. Once more companies start doing it, the price'll come down. There needs to be a more organized rollout of this technology tho....

The technology that needs to be looked at closer is the supply of Broadband through the power grid. In parts of Scotland there have already been "sucessfull" tests of the hardware. That means that every house on the national grid would have access to Broadband internet.

100 Mbps Connection Speed - Unlimited Usage
5 eMail boxes
5MB of Personal Web space
**not to be used for WHO CARES!!!

See Setup Charges Below

setup charges are 1 time charges, so the 39.95 is the MONTHLY RATE. Beats the hell out of trying to buy an OC3 line and bringing it to my house!

Fiber Installation Fee - PUD install charge
This charge is to bring the fiber-optic cable from the street to the side of the building ONLY.
$75.00
($175)

--seems to me this is to bring it to your house not share it with the neighbors

4 Port Router:
Installed to one (1) computer with CAT-5 cable (50ft.)
$150.00

--the fact that it says 1 computer means that its only shared in your home, i sure as hell wont pay for my neighbors to leech off my 100MBps line! Screw them

Other Networking or Configurations:
(i.e. Multiple Computers) Billed PER HOUR
$75 / Hour

--faq that, I say client/server

so first month should be 364.95

point to point charges are NOT part of the monthly charge for the personal unlimited access, its a DIFFERENT service :) oh well maybe i'm neurotic or brain dead.

I sure would pay 365$ setup fee and 40$/monthly after that for a 100Mbps line. Oh well its a dollar a day for a year, save now :)
