I have seen somebody(s) trying to connect, unsuccesfully though. I have now changed a setting and would appreciate a new try...:)

After your second post, so after you changed the settings. I am also behind a pretty thick firewall, although I have been able to connect to other boxes from here....:)

This is not good is it... Wonder why one got connected and also able to download a small file while others are actively rejected...
I have to think about this for a while...

I´ll get back and ask for more in a while.

Try port21 there has been alot of disscussion elsewhere on this board about alternate ports and why or why not they may or may not work for some while working for others. It has alot to do with firewalls and routers ect.

I have digged deeper into the manuals, changed a few things and now really hope everyone will be able to connect.
Please try (or try again) and give me a short feedback. If you don´t manage to login please mention what client you are running and also if you are behind a hard- or software firewall.

pcservicetech: Well, I´m not that eager to go for port 21, I have done that earlier and there was such a lot of scanners knocking on the door...

download speeds almost up to 1kbps

Here's what I got.. Logged in Ok (port mode) using SmartFTP ... list very slow and started a download 1.04K

As I stated in the first post:
NB (no downloading this time, got to make it work first...)

There isn´t much use with having ppl test and start huge downloads, right. My upload speed is always slow, around 10-15 k, and now it is limited to 1k.

Anyone else that can take a few moments and test?

Sorry...misunderstood..thought trying to get working. Just went thru all this myself. People could log in to me and list, but wouldn't let download anything. I just took a small file on your site and started it. Once I saw it worked canceled. So I guess the answer is yes I got in
