On Tuesday, Microsoft plans to officially launch Plus Digital Media Edition (DME), a $19.95 add-on pack

for Windows XP. Microsoft has offered various versions of Plus since the release of Windows 95. But unlike earlier versions, Plus DME is protected by product activation, meaning that consumers will have to enter a 25-key code to install the software and then "activate" Plus DME over the Internet.

Looks like something is gone wrong.

Saphiroth, please help! :D

Sephiroth 3rd Jan 03 04:44 AM

ummmm.... /me wonders why that didn't work and looks

Sephiroth 3rd Jan 03 04:46 AM

ok, take the align=right off of it and put it at the very top of the post and let's see if that works

How can you link a name without seeing the link itself like above.. does it work on the news section?

Sephiroth 3rd Jan 03 07:17 AM

in the news forum, this will work:

you were almost right, just missed a few spaces :P

ecperez 3rd Jan 03 07:19 AM

ah ok thanks..

Sephiroth 3rd Jan 03 07:27 AM

wait, woops, you were right on the target, it should be _blank .... not sure why i typed _default

ecperez 3rd Jan 03 07:58 AM

If i put _blank it will be under the frame betaone, and using _default will open another window... so which one?

Sephiroth 3rd Jan 03 07:59 AM

_default then :)

ecperez 3rd Jan 03 08:01 AM

yeah, ok.. thanks again..

~*McoreD*~ 3rd Jan 03 09:35 AM

Doesn't this mean, live links are allowed? :o

But, I love this way. Please don't change it back. :D
Cos it makes quality posts. :)

ecperez 3rd Jan 03 09:37 AM

when you use it , it makes the post cleaner.. and also the post we link are also news directing to them, and not illegal ones.

~*McoreD*~ 3rd Jan 03 09:42 AM

dude I understand it well. :)
i was just asking, because tubebouy said to use _http or hxtp etc. eventhough it is legal. :D

Personally I also like this way (live links). :)

~*McoreD*~ 3rd Jan 03 10:20 AM

Source: name_of_the_link_here

So this is how to open a link in a new window. i c now. Thanks ecperez :D

ecperez 3rd Jan 03 01:01 PM

Thanks for informing me ~*McoreD*~ , yeah I read it, so now we need to post as what tubebouy said, but Sephiroth seems fine to him, so now I need confirmation with the moderators to request to post live legal links on the news section, as far as I know every board that I visit all of them have live links on their news, and seems it is more professional and cleaner, than posting those " *" links. just a suggestion, if not then need to follow the rules, thanks...

Sephiroth 3rd Jan 03 10:24 PM

i think we should let live links through for news.... it does make the posts seem to be higher quality, /me will see what the rest of the crew thinks :P

belthazor 3rd Jan 03 10:44 PM

Let live links live here. It makes sense. :)
