|
*** CuteFTP Pro 2.0 - build Nov 20 2001 ***
STATUS:> Getting listing ""... STATUS:> Connecting to ftp server 192.168.0.4:21 (ip = 192.168.0.4)... ERROR:> Can't connect to remote server. Socket error = #10065. STATUS:> Waiting 61 seconds... No luck here too ! |
I can tell you one thing to fix... That IP is the IP for [i:6e8aa3a716]your[/i:6e8aa3a716] LAN (or internal network). If you want others outside your LAN to connect to you then you need to find out your external IP. You can find that out easy (Like over here...http://megawx.aws.com/support/faq/software/ip.asp). Then set up on your router the forwarding ports (In this case 21) to the computer with the server. Once you get that you will be at least one step closer :D

If you place this subject in the "[b:a43716dd54]FTP Help[/b:a43716dd54]" section, I bet you will be [i:a43716dd54]swarmed[/i:a43716dd54] with all the needed help :D |
In fact thats where its going. Look there for this post

Well, I don't know if you are still trying but... I am getting connection refused now. Do you have your ports forwarded or a firewall? Gotta make sure you have your ports forwarded cuz the router will act as a hardware firewall. You also need to make sure your software firewall is configured correctly (If you use one, I would highly recommend if you don't.)

sorry bout that everyone and thanxs killzone

Here is what I got with FlashFXP:
WinSock 2.0 Connecting to ftp.adbunt.com Unable to resolve host: ftp.adbunt.com Delaying for 90 seconds before reconnect attempt #1 OR Connecting to 62.254.0.7 Connected to 62.254.0.7 Port 21 Connection failed Delaying for 90 seconds before reconnect attempt #1 I'll keep trying, I am not all that knowledable with FTPs but I try to help out. |
