Read the notes at the top of the page before installing though

thx guys for ur help ... but all ur suggestion don't work !!

any idea ?!

( i have remove all my prog for listening DVD or other films viewer )

When you say it doesn't want to play movies, what is Media Player telling you. Is it having a problem locating a codec. You didn't mention whether you have DivX codec or not. If not you'll quite often have problems.

PS: This site was recommended by one of the folks on BetaOne:

Does this play the movies?

C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe

Where C:\ is the root drive.

If so, you could try reinstalling wmplayer.

Sounds to me like you dont have the divx codecs installed.

Go here: http://www.divx.com/ and download the divx package. You will get a player and the codecs required. Be sure to download the free one ;)

After downloading and installing you will be able to view your movies in either media player or the nice divx player that comes with.

Let us know if you get this fixed :)

In the media player tools/options/file types, do you have all the boxes checked?

just_do_IT 5th Dec 02 04:23 AM

I am sure you have thought of this, but ... have you clicked help - check for player upgrades?

AnneJay 6th Dec 02 05:23 PM

Have you tried any other players, as suggested earlier. PowerDVD is a good one, and as Richardc mentioned, there have been a lot of good things said about Zoom Player.

Alpine 8th Dec 02 09:05 PM
