I'm glad your concerned about it BetaONE, but believe me, leadership nor sherpards can make sheep post. We all make BetaONE into what it is ourselfs, and if you feel BetaONE is not going so well for you, then you have to do something about it yourself. You make it happen here, or not. We all do . . .

BetaONE ran very well in the past, and well running in the present, and will be running well in the future too.

i dont really like the new layout or color schemes.
and despite at least 2 requests.....havent gotten rid of the live discussion..

and thats kinda kept me from posting.
i just come to see any new PMs...

I don't like live discussion either. Half the time it does not get used so it ends up being dead space you have to scroll past constantly. :rolleyes:

I'll say it again: Adding a function for all users to have to see whether they use it or not is not very considerate web design. Atleast if it HAS to be there, confine it to the forum front page, not on every friggin page. It bogs down slow connections and slow computers. Otherwise, I too think B1 has grown quiet. Even the news server does not see as many posts as the old forum downloads section did. Some people gave up on Betaone. Hopefully some will return. :( I still check Betaone faithfully though.

ok shall we start a poll?

it seems to be going through a lull period, hopefully not permanantly. i think with the change to the news server and the rift with allbetas, some members may have been tossed off the boat. i still come to post and hang out here, though. keep da faith!

I really don't understand what you people have against the live discussion. I saw the poll, and I have to admit, so far nearly everyone wants to be able to turn it off. So, we will see what is possible.

But again, I haven't got a clue what is the problem with it, it doesn't bother me at all, I even like it.

Actually i have noticed the online members has been steadily increasing over the last couple weeks.

because it freaked my browser out.
and i hated it being there ALL THE TIME.

if i hate something, ...why would i want to punish myself and constantly see it?


+ it wasnt JUST the thing..
it was the new look/layout...i have no idea what this NNTPstuff is here for...
