Thanks dude, will give it a try :)

Thanks McoreD, will have a peek.

I grabbed it and tried it.
Hmm. Pretty much what one can wish for, except for the lack of "sizes". On the wish list: An option where the size of each file and also the total size for each tree or branch can be added. Thank you for all the work! |
McoreD,
Thanks for all the time you put into this, making changes as I requested. Does the job I need. Being able to index directories along with a main index works wonders. Also like being able to have different config [tbc] files for different domains. Thanks again |
Wow, nice one!!
:) |
Looks very interesting. I'll try it please. :)

ok.. I'll bite..

Hi Guys,
I've updated to the first post with the download link to TreeGUI 2.0 BETA 1. Great ideas from HotRod came in to this development. Changes since v1.5.8.0 * NEW: Create XHTML 1.1 compatible index files that are customizable using CSS * NEW: Compress large index files after indexing * NEW: Tasks folder to index multiple config files at one time * NEW: Integrated Tree.NET Indexing Engine to show Folder/File Sizes * NEW: Index according to an Interval or Date & Time * Windows Service to configure and forget Sample index file: http://microsoftuse.temp.powweb.com/...ndex-demo.html |
Works good.
Thanks http://justphreaken.com/=My%20VBR=.html http://justphreaken.com/=My_VBR=2.html http://justphreaken.com/=My_VBR=3.html Like how you can customize |
Awsome update. Thanks a ton! :D
Here Is Mine: http://willsdownloads.com/D.Music.index.html Like that third one hot rod. I will work on mine friday. ;) Here is another view. :P http://willsdownloads.com/Music.htm |
TreeGUI Features I'd Like To See:
1.) Show Total Number Of Files At Top With Total File Size 2.) Option To Use External CSS File - That Is Create The CSS Via External CSS File Automatically Instead Of Inlined 3.) Option To Hide File Extensions 4.) Option To Automatically Launch Specified Configuration File On Launch 5.) Option To Hide Safety Warnings - That Is Assume The User Wants To Save Every Time - That Is To Say Do Not Ask Just Save 6.) Option To Hide Folder Sizes 6.) Option To Use Greek Numbers Instead Of Alpha Numeric Or Bullets For Counting 7.) Option To Sort Backwards - That Is Listing Display Of Z-A Instead Of A-Z 8.) Option To Not List Sub Folders - So Only The Selected Folder - None Under It 9.) For Option 8 Have Another Option Which Is Only List The Specified Sub Folder(s) And Another Option To Only Not List The Specified Sub Folder(s) 10.) Display File Extensions In All Lower Case - Makes It Look Better ;) |
TreeGUI hits v2.3 today and goes Open Source.
+ Virtual Folder Support + MP3 ID3v2 Scan Much of the requests were filled with more additions, Will. Now since it is under GPL you can tweak it the way you need and contribute. :) Cheers, McoreD |
Nice,
this is just what the doctor ordered :) |
Latest: http://www.war59312.com/Music.D.index.html
Other: http://www.war59312.com/Music.htm Sweet! :) Lots of updates I see. :D Funny that it counts the index file by default though. Perhaps have the ignore index.html option enabled from the start... Also File > Save As always wants to save to my Desktop instead of the TreeGUI programs directory. It should want to save to the programs directory by default since that is where, by default, where TreeGUI config files are saved. Same goes for opening a config file... Also, TreeGUI always starts in a maximized window state. :( Um, on a related not that sure would be nice if application window state and size where remembered. All right, the "Create index file in the following directory" option requries some work. In order to use this setting you have to enable one of the options. Why not just have: Major Option >> "Create index file in the following directory" Sub Option >> "Create individual index files" No need for the "Merge all index files to a single file" option. Assume that when the major option is enabled and the sub option is disabled. Well, I am confused about these two options at the moment anyways. Both do the same thing. Execpt "Merge all index files to a single file" is missing the css completely. Other than that they are the same output. Of course I am using an html output. So the options seem pointless to me. Or am I missing something? I also find it odd that via Tools > Config Properties always opens to the Engines Tab > Tree.NET Tab. It should either remember the last tab you had open or open to the first tab, "Output". Also, you should be able to pick the engine option for each config. So the Engine options should be part of the config itself rather than the main settings of the application. Um, an ignore image files filter option would be nice. Would love to be able to use cover.* as a filter. ;) *.cover works but not cover.* . Filters should ignore case. Like to filter out images I have to use *.jpg|*.JPG . Would be nice if only *.jpg was requried. Though it would be nicer to just have a filter out images option which filters out all common image types... Um about the "Scan MP3 ID3v2 Tags" and "Quick Audio Scan" options. When enabled it displays bit rate and the time. Um perhaps change the option then to read: "Scan MP3 ID 3v2 Tags (Adds Bit Rate And Time to Output)" Also, that would be nice if you could cut of non important digits. Of course those would be leading zeros. So for example instead of: 3 Doors Down - Away From The Sun [8.90 MiB] [320 Kibit/s, 00:03:53] You would have: 3 Doors Down - Away From The Sun [8.90 MiB] [320 Kibit/s, 3:53] Compression options seem to have no effect. No zip file is even created. |
