May your bunddle of Joy not grow up to quickly, remmeber that you spend the first two years of their life getting & teaching them to talk & walk and then the following 16+ years asking them to sit down & be quite.

hi there all back now few
at 4.15am (uk) tuck wife into hospital and was full dialated by 7.50am and at 8.06am (uk) we had a little girl weighing in at 8lb 4 oz and she has got some good lungs on her best thing is on birth plan here in uk you can chose max time you want to stay in hospitial after birth if all goes ok we put six hours and guess how long we was in 13 hrs this was due to we had private room and they forgot about use for six and half hrs after the birth (dam nhs ) but all is well both mother and racheal are well ( better photo to come ) many many thnx all |
Glad to hear things went GREAT!
May I ask about the amount of time allowed to stay in the hospital for mom. I don't think I'm clear on that. Do mothers only get to stay in the hospital for a max of 6 hrs after birth? Does that go for baby too? |
Congatulations Darlord. I'm a suker for little girls. I had two of my own and they grew up too fast. Hope you get some sleep. :)
|
over here we use a birthing plan the way it works is
if birth goes ok and mother and baby is ok they can go home after six hrs ( called half day stay) but if any complecations you have to stay a day in hospital (full day stay ) and we wanted the six hrs as we was worried about rebbecca (other dauther only 3 ) we have never been away from her so long nano sleep at all eyes are like lead weights at mo |
Congrats!!

ROFLMAO
Congarats to you on the new one in your family and to here at BetaOne as well. Yes sleep will be lost but when she is grown-up you can look back and then realize you really never missed the sleep that much if at all. Quote:

Congrats, darklord, a beautiful addition to your family! I have a little girl, now 7 years old, and she's such a daddy's girl. There's no better thing in this world than a hug from your daughter!
