I cant see so many changes in this built havent have it running for more than 10min *lol*

The only thing that dont work for me is StyleXp soo we have to wait for a new update on that one..

Just installed 1086 not bad ,come on Style XP get busy......

Just installed 1086 over a slipsteamed 1081, no problems at all, no 'testing' messages or anything, and in my opinion, it does seem to be smoother, and maybe a bit faster.

WIN XP RC1: A quick update

Just a quick note. Seems the elves at MS have been busy putting together yet another build, and this one will be RC1.

Looks like 1086 did not make the final cut and RC1 is eminant. No build number known as of yet, but speculation is build 1090, 91, 93 (??)

I hacked uxtheme.dll :rolleyes: again and it is working on XP Pro Build 5.2600 (Original) and XP SP1 v1086 (5.2600.1086).

Just need a place to upload as Come2Store sites are FULL and can't U/L it there.

Just tried the version from DriverHeaven, it allows StyleXP Theme to load, but you can't can't change Themes.

Here's my hacked uxtheme.dll, it's beem tested on both XP 5.2600.000 (original) and XP with SP1 v1086 (5.2800.1086).

Get it here, sorry that you have to register and all that crap.

I know it works on my PC's, it's been tested.
