I see you're feeling "blue". You should make a "list" of your troubles. You may find the "key" to your "Gen"eral question if you SEARCH for it

Have a nice day :)

Apparently there was another rumour that MS was going to put a stop to that as well somehow. Dunno if thats true, don't see how they can.

wow......the key matches my key exactly.....if only lottery was as accurate as this......man.....

Epyx 5th Aug 02 04:27 AM

As someone else said, these keys are mostly beta keys. They have no relevance to us and the article unfortunately is no more informative than previous articles explaining this procedure.

Thanks for the info.

AnneJay 5th Aug 02 06:40 PM

Tried the "wet_paper_bag" utility to change key and it worked fine. Do not see the key on the "leaked list" on Lab-Mice link. :D

rikytik 5th Aug 02 07:06 PM

Gonna be interesting when the final comes out. I now have one legit copy, since I upgraded my old laptop, but still got my other machines oln the LAN to think about.

BigG 19th Aug 02 01:44 AM

Hi, I have the Corp XP with the "FCK***" key.

Can I replace this key with a key for retail XP pro?

I've tried many keys, but none of them worked. I end up with same "fck**" I had in the begining.

Thanks.

BigG

Stringent 21st Aug 02 09:19 PM

Hmm, the list seems to have been updated.

Don't you need to replace it with another corp key? There's a program that does that quite nicely, I believe ;)

Eat my Shorts M$!!!
http://www.winbeta.org/modules.php?name=Ne...article&sid=106

This isn't a complete list of all the black listed cd keys like the article that was on labmice.net but it still gives you all the general info needed to change your cd key.
I suggest anyone who wants this info to print it out as I did, and the syntax for the one product activation command line in this re-post of the article is wrong just add the appropriate back slashes like this.
%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a

When you go to LabMice now you get -

This article has been removed from our site by the request of Microsoft Corporation.

gugusse 6th Sep 02 02:23 PM

Hi Felix ML,

All you have to do is to copy the link (URL) and paste it in the search bar of Google then apply "search".

You will get the page "How to change the Windows XP Product Activation Key Code" as your only result. Then, click on "Show Google's cache of www.labmice.net/WindowsXP/articles/changeID.htm".

That's it.
