I had some bad labs with regard to my diabetes today and started on a second type of insulin and Im up to 5 shots a day. Doc says if I dont get stabilized soon Im a candidate for another stroke. On another note while on the bus one person thanked me for serving and another called me a killer and yes I sent some folks to meet their maker so I wouldnt have to. Its been that kind of day. Also having a hard time staying or getting on my feet. May be the circulation in my legs is getting bad. Some tests coming up to find out whats going on. One of these days soon I may need another health vacation . I think I'll start this day over. I need a nap.

Jeez, you are still young. What is going on there?
You paying attention to your diet? You still woking? My great principal when I was working was "health days". I'd take off from work at lunch time and go see the latest macho movie--Schwartznegger, VanDamme, whatever, eat pop corn and escape. It was great. A lot of life is attitude. Heavy things at home can weigh a guy down. Thank goodness for fine hobbies (or professional vocations) like EDP and their problems and joys--which normally we can solve, unlike our own. :) Hang in there James |
I feel for you, i'm praying for the insulin. been on 20 tablets a day for diabetes and it's related side effects, that can't be doing the rest of my body any good!
Hope you stabalise soon. |
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

James,
So sorry to hear that James. I pray you get back on track soon. I never get checked out, so when you hear about me it might be really bad. :P |
Take care James, I'll be praying for you to recover soon. Take care and try to do as the doctors say.

hello James55
Hang in there brother, if you can make it threw what you have already, this will only be a small setback... My Prayers are with you... BigHead50 |
Sorry to hear that James, hope you get back on the track soon :)
Homie |
is there some changes you can make to your diet/exercise routine that might give you a little more energy?
sometimes the little things can make a big difference.. As far as the donkey-wiper who called you a killer, hopefully you just laugh at those kinds of "cowards" who are afraid to defend themselves, their country, their families, and find some sick pleasure in saying sheet like that.. You WILL feel better; keep telling your self that!! |
I hope that all will be ok soon for you my friend ;)
|
Prayers yes of course. /wondering what I can say from over here..
I guess I'm still lucky with regards to that sorta stuff, but I intend to learn about the situation lots, with your allowance. Do your darnest to shake off as much of the heavy stuff as possible. ihugs, lots of ihugs |
Feeling alittle better today thanks. A bit shakey from the new insulin though. I feel like a pin cushion already
|
From one veteran (still on active duty) to another, my best wishes for improved health. Medical science does wonders now-a-days, but I can imagine your daily regime is quite the shock to your body.

Laterz. |
Sorry to hear.
Take care James. |
Glad ur feeling better... Type2?
|
take care man, get better
|
My prayers are with you also James, keep up the faith because at times like these you can not loose faith that things will get better. It has been mentioned also that you see your doctor and you are seeing him or her but be sure to tell exactly how you feel at certian times of the day.
You may need to keep a ledger of shot times and medications as well as food intake. You probably already are. As far as the remarks that get made, yes they hurt and may make you mad but that is their opinion and WRONG as they are they have not been in your shoes or looking through your eyes so they really don't know what they are really talking about. God Bless you Thanks Dudelive |
