You guessed it, its the return of......ME...TheCrossMovement. This a major moment in B1 History. Actually no, its not really a big deal.......just thought I'd pop in and say a suprise hello to all who knew or remember me, and a shout out 2 those who don't. I was one of the founding members of B1, and I used 2 mod this place. I "retired" when I became too busy to be a good mod, and life became too demanding. I just sorta disappeared from here and dropped off the face of the world......but I wanted to come back and re-visit my old "stompin grounds" if U will.

Will be around here and there, so plz post. Mayb I'll make some new friends, and revive some old ones..

Thanks for all the welcome back's. This IS my home on the web. Of course, I like Neowin, IeXbeta, and Winbeta as well....but B1 is always gonna be MY home. I remember when B1 was destined to be THE BEST beta site on the net. B1 is gr8, but somehow I think Neowin and Winbeta has well surpassed us. This is no diss to B1. B1 may be the same site with many of the same ppl, but it doesn't seem to be what it was in the past. We were THE place 2 B......but what about now? Its been so long....how's this place doing as far as its member count and ability to get breaking beta scoops before the other sites?? Because THAT is what B1 is known for......or was known for some time ago.

Any other B1 old timers still hangin around here? I wanna c some shout outs from ya. Make ur mark right here! :) We could almost call this thread:"The Original B1 Crew: A Reunion".

Anyone remember Originiality or "oreo" as some ppl might call him? He used to run/own this entire site til I think he was overthrown or stepped down. Correct me if i'm wrong. Anyone know where he's 'hidin'? :)

I also do remember you as well, but back then I was too timid to say much and just mostly observed what the others did or still do. Most times I have found that I can learn alot just by listening........but since you mentioned it where is everyone and what has changed to cause others to leave?

I still love this place and always will although I do not say much I am usually around reading post and getting educated from the many other good people here.

Just the next day. Yea we had a lot more active members back then. Thats when I'm afraid iexbeta took off.

And yea I should remember you since I was one of the main mods/admin untill Org got pissed off and created the other beta site which I cant remember the name of. Think it was all betas but not sure. Something like that.

I was here even longer than that though really. Gone though like 8 different forums before then. The archive.org has some of them I beleive.

But yea I remember and glad to see ya back.

Agreed :( If you have any suggestions they would of course be very welcome. I doubt there is much we can do at the moment. After XP went RTM this place got quieter, and because it got quieter people went to more active places. Hopefully when Longhorn becomes beta things will improve.
