I had to take the board offline for 10 mins or so earlier, we had a new member join up and proceed to spam the board with links to a virus hosted on an angelfire website. He also uploaded the virus as a post attatchment in testing. All the links have now been removed and the attatchment has been deleted.

His ISP will be notified (comcast) as will his website provider.

Damn, yea Ivision Power Board needs to have some attachment virus scanning built it.

Is there a mod. that can do that?

Think you should add viurs protection to the board.

Then hopefully that wont happen again and will help prevent users from accidently uploading virus,worms, etc.

In cases like this it is worth letting the other boards that are around know as well. Isp's do not like that sorta junk, it gives them a bad name. Idiots like that need to go home and play with their toy trucks.
