I've been looking to upgrade my cpu to a p4 3.2 - 3.4 ghz just wondering if you know a good cheap place to buy it online that will deliver internationally.

Thx :)

Hey sony,

I have the 3.2 and it is hella fast! :)

I dunno if they are the cheapest, but they sure do have great products, as well as service. Try hxxp://www.newegg.com.

Most people here tend to recommend them. I have used them many of times. Their prices are usually great, and their service is fantastic!

Newegg is the place to shop ;) Great Service and easy to return something if needed.

Newegg or MWave, I have good luck with both and comparison shop between the two for the cheaper price.

Where did you take your settings for overclocking ?

I have a P4 2.0 ghz

Dudelive 13th Mar 04 06:35 PM

@Bads You might want to check overclockers.com in the forums and see what others have found that works and what will not work. Just to get an idea not that all would tell the truth.......:) :)

Thanks

3.2 Northwoods are great overclockers... this one does 3.8 quite easily. Stay away from the Prescotts until they get the heat issues straightened out with a new stepping if you are gonna overclock

bads a good cpu database is a good start for overclocking and find the best settings
http://pcdb.overclockers.com.au/

after that is a lot of testing and stress testing to make sure your system is stable :)
