That is skiing with one ski and back-wards down a double black diamond. Its fun insnt it. If so, you got what you asked for? haha :P Anyways man that sucks. I've never broken or even had stitches so I cant say I know what thats like. poopie never even had to go to the hospital. But damn u must of done something more than just fall. :P I mean what you fall off the mountain um? lol Well damn man, take it easy and hope you heal fast, like me. :D At least no school or whatever. |
@Alpine - Sorry to hear that. :(
Glad your not dead bud. I have a friend that had those screws that would desolve as you heal. Do you have those? Edit - Oh just seen you have a plate, guess those srews are metal. Damn boy, how much air did you get? :P |
:( Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I wish you a speedy recovery and a safer time on the hills in your future skiing days.
|

Damn, that sucks! Well think about it this way, you can now set off the metal detectors at airports everytime you go through :D
|

First I thought you were posting a joke, but it is is not.
Sorry to hear that Alpine. :( Hope you willl get better soon. All the Best, McoreD |
Sorry to hear about the accident, I broke my ankle about 12 years ago in a car wreck, I also had several screws to hold it all together. The doctors said that I'd never run again and would always have a limp. If they tell you that don't listen, I proved them all wrong, but it took a while, I was off work for around 5 months and had to learn to walk again. Keep up the good spirits and don't ever give up.

Thx guys .... but just 1 thing i hate ..
I need to have 6 weeks of Plaster ( i don't know if this the good word ) and 6 weeks of physio!! |
Outch Man... Gees that just sucks.... Just glad we heard from you again ;)
|
What ever you do, when it comes out of plaster be real carefull! I broke mine around 17 years ago and spent 6 weeks in plaster. 1 week to the day after having the plaster removed i managed to slip and break the damn thing again- same place. It's been broken again 4 times in the intervening years and it hurts just as much the 5th time as it does the second!
Glad to see you can still type, get well soon :) |
DoG sounds like your safer just sitting at the computer. :P
|
Just when you think that the break is the worst part, then comes the physical therapy. AHHHHHH!
When I was in the hospital after a motorcycle accident, the first thing a nurse asked me, Was it skiing or a motorcycle? Take care, heal, and enjoy the time off. |
DOG: this is a crazy poopie .... sorry about that !!
Is this always painfull ??? That suck ... But glad to see u here !! |

|
Some dude said "what must be endured makes us stronger" or some thing like that :P
Yeah, the physio sucks. I still have a limp now, though it's nowhere near what it used to be like :D I still managed to play American football even with it broken, lots of strapping and a handfull of painkillers do wonders :) @KC: Not really, i now have arthritis in my hand! |
erm "Limp" .. Me wonders what Zone would be thinking....
|
If you ask Zone i'm sure he would be thinking about Elephants :P
