Today I took my tower system outside and used a can of air to blow the dust out of the inside. It really was bad :( but looks better now. We often use all different types of software to do maintenance on our system and forget to blow the dust out until something melts down from too much dust.

Any other PC maintenance ideas or thoughts welcome.

reseat ALL slots regularly, I do mine every 2 months, and use a pencil eraser to remove oxidation from the contacts.

I jus do what KC does, with a couple of input fans all my human remains get sucked in! LOL! :)

Not thought of deoxidising the contacts, just CBB (Cant Be Bothered) I'll wait till something goes wrong.

EDIT ~ @GSD, I see you have been a user for sometime now and don't post too often. I thank you for your reply here and it's far from an obvious PC maintenance trick for most of us. As you can see from Bearcat's post, Empty has not gone unseen. I welcome your future replies on BetaONE.
